The Registering and logging in page
To use the Buy2Let application you need to register as a user and enter you contact details.
This can be done by clicking on the 'Register for Buy2Let Now' link on the login page,
which will bring up a page asking for a username and password. The user name must be
unique. The password must be entered twice to confirm entry is correct. The password will
not be displayed for security reasons. You are also asked for your contact details including
forename, surname, company name, address, postcode, telephone numbers and email address,
and where you heard about Buy2let.
The 'Manage multiple landlords' option should be checked if you
are a letting agent managing multiple landlords properties as it will enable you to enter details of multiple
landlords, record account fees for each lodging and record which landlord owns which property.
Fields marked with '*' must be entered.
You should then click on the signup button to confirm the details.
This will log you in and create a portfolio for you. You will be taken to the landlord details page which gives a summary of your portfolio. The contact details may be amended at any time by clicking on the 'Edit My Account Details' link.
The Landlords page will prompt you to enter your first property and lodgings. Once those details have been completed you will be taken to the tenancy list to record details of tenants in the lodgings by clicking on the 'New' link.
You may enter further properties and lodgings at any time by using the 'New property' link on the sidebar or at the bottom of the properties list.
You can also enter bills,reminders or mortgage details for the property by clicking the 'show' link and the clicking the relevant link.
When you have finished your work you should logout using the link at the bottom of the sidebar. You can login again by entering you username and password in the login page.
If you forget your password but can remember your login, then click the 'Forgot your password?' link on the login page, and a new password will be emailed to the email address you registered with. If you cannot remember your login, then email us with the details you registered with so that we can identify your login and send you your login and a new password.
If you do not have enough credit to allow access you will be taken to the payment page, if you are a landlord, assistant users will just be logged out. Once payment is made your access will be available as normal.
